Hyundai of Kirkland is rapidly growing and to keep up with our continued growth, we are actively pursuing a Certified Hyundai Technician to join our Service Department.
Our dealerships provide all special tools needed to get every job done and every technician has a minimum of 1 bay! We acknowledge the value of career development and growth, so we provide both online and in-person training with Hyundai.
All online training is paid and while you’re performing your in-person training, we pay 8 hours for each day. We’ll work around your schedule try to do our best to financially support your training.
Working as a Certified Hyundai Technician, you’ll get to work on the most cutting-edge technology in the automotive industry.
Your responsibilities will primarily focus on diagnosing and repairing line work. The ideal candidate is going to be someone with manufacturer certifications with the ability to complete repair work in a timely manner.
Certified Hyundai Technician Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failure, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, replacing parts.
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout repair / servicing process.
- Warranty and recall work.
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.
Schedule : M-F (7a-5p), Sat. (8a-4p)
We will be switching to 4-10s once we are fully staffed!
Certified Hyundai Technician Benefits and Compensation
Flat-Rate : $40 (Top performers will have the ability to reach upwards of 180-200 billable hours!)

Qualifications
Certified Hyundai Technician Qualifications
- 1-3 years automotive repair / diagnostic experience. Hyundai Certified preferred.
- Driver’s License.
- Personal Tools.
Corporate requirements : Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not included in the screening.
