Located just minutes away from all of the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation.
It is the primary responsibility of the Engineer Kitchen to maintain and repair kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing and beverage equipment of all makes and designs throughout the property.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform repairs on kitchen equipment located throughout the property.
- Move, lift, and replace kitchen equipment as needed to complete repairs. Will require standing, walking, lifting (up to 50-70 pounds), reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
- Find and determine source of power and gas issues utilizing voltmeters or gauges.
- Safely operate scissor lifts, forklifts, and other industrial equipment to complete repairs as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with management and co-workers when completing assigned tasks.
- Work under minimum supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 3-5 Years’ experience in refrigeration required.
- 3-5 Years’ experience performing in commercial kitchen repairs required.
- Working knowledge of natural gas equipment controls, steam and electric kitchen equipment, and industrial controls preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor is a must.
- Must be 21 Years of Age.
