Senior Associate,Mortgage Loan Administrator
Locations : Boston, MA Windsor, CT New York Union,NJ Hybrid
Get To Know The Team :
The loan team's day-to-day duties include performing loan servicing and loan accounting functions on assigned commercial or residential mortgage portfolios.
The team uploads loan information onto SS&C’s loan servicing software, processes and reconciles loan life-cycle activity, and produces accurate accounting packages and service requests.
They also assist in completion of any NAIC Schedule B regulatory reporting.

What You Will Get To Do :
- Perform daily and monthly loan accounting processes, loan balance / GL reconciliation, amortization review, and reporting functions
- Process loan cash transactions such as payment processing, loan payoff, escrow disbursement, investor sale, etc.
- Monitor cash account and reconcile loan payment received from borrower
- Upload newly originated / purchased loan onto SS&C loan servicing software and send welcome package to borrower
- Assist in completing and reconciling quarterly and annual NAIC Schedule B regulatory package
- Track and update collateral and compliance on loans including rent rolls and operating statements
- Generate various loan notices such as billing statement, maturity notice, late payment notice, payoff statement, etc
- Assist in the implementation of new client
What You Will Bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- 2-5 years' relevant experience in the insurance industry or commercial Real Estate loan administration
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting or IFRS
- Experience with NAIC reporting with strong preference for NAIC Schedule B experience
- Investment general ledger experience is strongly preferred
- Self-starter and ability to work independently to meet daily, monthly, and project deliverables
- Ability to identify processing issue and formulate resolution
- Strong ability to communicate professionally with internal / external contacts
- Strong analytical skills and ability to remain highly organized in a deadline driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft SQL is a plus
