Job Description
Looking for your first role or maybe a change in career, do you like working in a team, meeting new people, fancy working for one of Britain's Top Employers, Due to promotion, we are looking for a Customer Service Assistant, you don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as we will provide you with a great on-boarding and induction.

As a new colleague you will be encouraged to enroll onto a TP development or Apprentice scheme, if you choose. You will be joining our Kendal branch on, Mintsfeet Trading Estate, LA9 6RX, this is a busy branch with a total of 21 colleagues and 5 delivery vehicles, we also have a successful Benchmarx Showroom and Tool Hire department.
We have around 150 Trade customers a day, so the Branch Manager has created a family feel, great moral where everyone supports another one, so you will be in good hands.
Opening Hours Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 8am - 12pm but you will only need to work 2 Saturdays in 4 - We are flexible on hours - also open to job sharing, this can be discussed at interview stage.

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and now that you have a new found knowledge of our products, here are a few pointers :
- You will greet our customers on the branch counter, help them with information on our products, maybe preparing quotes and help each customer with their purchase, taking our sales from good to great.
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers, some of whom we know on a first time basis, so its essential that you are helpful and friendly.
- Most of your time will be spent in the shop on our counter, also putting stock away, stock replenishment.
- You will be a part of a dynamic and friendly team with plenty of support.
This is a key customer facing role and we are interested in your transferable skills, great customer service and the enthusiasm to be part of a team and learn.
