Junior Business Analyst

Description

As a Junior Business Analyst, you'll play a dual role, providing both user support and software testing expertise. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to learn the ropes of both areas, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the IT lifecycle.

This is a HYBRID position that is located in Arlington, VA.

Responsib ilities include, but are not limited to :

Help Desk Support :

Provide first-line technical support to our clients, troubleshooting user issues and resolving problems efficiently

Document support interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical resources

Stay up-to-date on the latest software and hardware functionalities to provide effective user assistance

Software Quality Assurance (QA) :

Assist senior QA analysts in developing and executing test plans to ensure software functionality meets user requirements

Conduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying bugs and defects

Document test results and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues

Business Analysis Support :

Assist with requirements gathering and analysis tasks for IT projects

Help create user documentation and training materials

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field

1+ years of experience in a technical support or customer service environment (or equivalent)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications :

Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)

Experience with testing tools and methodologies

Security Clearance Requirements :

US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level clearance
