Electrician Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Licensed Electrician . You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

We work with residential and commercial clients, so you must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in various homes and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, and electronic equipment connections.

Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience and extensive knowledge of different types of electrical networks.

Electrician Duties and Responsibilities

• Review job calls each day
• Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair
• Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary
• Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving the client location
• Maintain and store tools and equipment properly
• New Installation - re-wires
• Code Upgrades

Electrician Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
• Current electrician license
• 2+ years of electrician experience preferred
• Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques
• Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Walking and / or standing throughout the day. Frequent climbing ladders. Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.

The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

This is a full-time salary position, working 7 : 30 a.m.4 : 00 p.m., MondayFriday, 40 hours per week. This position could require longer hours (beyond 8 hours a day), occasionally working on-call, and occasional weekend work.

Travel may be required but is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected although it would be rare.
