Key Responsibilities :
- Direct and monitor warehouse operations to ensure timely availability and utilization of resources.
- Coordinate activities with commercial teams, drivers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Utilize ERP system (SAP) to process orders, update statuses, and track equipment movements.
- Act as a central information source for customers and internal teams, providing timely updates and assistance.
- Receive and process customer service requests, gathering necessary information for successful job execution.
- Dispatch drivers, field service personnel, and equipment to job sites, maintaining continuous communication.
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including job status reports and customer information.
- Alert relevant personnel to developing situations and customer-related updates.
- Provide basic technical consultation and assist with equipment maintenance and repair issues.
- Attend and participate in daily meetings to discuss order priority and execution.
- Handle communication, negotiation, and booking of contract hauler loads.
- Create and manage all documents related to deliveries, international border paperwork, and chemical bill of ladings.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Strong mathematical skills and moderate-to-quick typing skills.
- Background in customer service and transportation / shipping / logistics.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desired Characteristics :
- Bachelor's Degree in a transportation-related program.
