The innovation department of a mid-sized company in Detroit is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract , with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
The Technical Business Analyst bridges business needs and technical solutions, primarily within the Innovation department.
This role involves analyzing processes, integrating technical solutions, and ensuring successful project implementation.
Strong business and technical skills are essential.
One to three years of experience is ideal, as this role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow. The position is primarily on-site , Monday through Friday, with occasional remote work possible when necessary.
Candidates must already reside in the Detroit area to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and document business processes.
- Gather and align technical and business requirements.
- Create and manage project documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Use JIRA for project tracking.
- Leverage AI for faster documentation and decision-making.
- Collaborate on implementing technical solutions.
Experience :
- 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, data integration, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Shopify project experience (preferred).
- Experience with JIRA and tools like Canva, Lucidchart, or Figma.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and software architectures.
- Experience with Generative AI (preferred).
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
