Position Overview
The Market Activation Manager at CLUTCH will be responsible for driving sales development and activation programs that inform business decisions and growth opportunities.
This role involves leading inside sales initiatives and acting as the Sales Development Representative (SDR) that is conducting outreach, compiling reports and maintaining technology platforms.
The Market Activation Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to provide actionable insights that guide the company’s sales activation strategies.
While this position leads initiatives and projects, it does not involve direct people management.
Sales Development & Inside Sales :
- Strong understanding of inside sales processes, including lead qualification and management.
- Proven experience in driving lead generation efforts through Sales Development Representative (SDR) outreach.
- Familiarity with sales techniques, including outbound calling, email campaigns, and prospecting.
Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking :
- Expertise in conducting outreach analysis, reporting and trend identification including the use of AI tools for transcription and summary analyses.
- Ability to translate contextual insights into actionable business applications.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align findings with business goals.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from various sources, including customer surveys, and CRM systems.
Communication & Presentation :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex topics and insights to stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to create and deliver impactful reports and insights to senior management.
CRM & Marketing Tools Proficiency :
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, TalkDesk) to track leads, manage customer data, and analyze sales trends.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms to support SDR outreach and sales campaigns.
Project Management & Organization :
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and act as the lead contributor to multiple market activation projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive strategic initiatives independently.
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving :
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proactive problem-solving capabilities to adjust strategies based on market conditions and competitor activities.
Collaboration & Teamwork :
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional client teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure insights are aligned with business objectives;
as well as cross-functional CLUTCH teams, including client success, program management, connections, digital and technology, and catalyst.
Experience collaborating without direct management of team members but leading initiatives and ensuring project success.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inside sales and managing lead generation efforts, including SDR outreach.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret contextual data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, data collection tools, and analysis software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, without direct supervisory responsibilities.
