We are looking for an experienced hotel professional with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us at the DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview.
You will collaborate with our General Manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations and assume the GM's responsibilities in their absence.
This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a full-service experience. Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service while also maintaining the hotel's budget and Brand Standards.
Compensation :
$60,000 - $70,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the General Manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability
- Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations
- Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention
- Assist the general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service
- Manage compliance with company or brand-established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Assist in day-to-day operations within all departments
Qualifications :
- Superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required
- Flexible schedule
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guests and team members first
- Prior AGM or similar experience preferred
- Hilton experience preferred
- ONQ and Profit Sword experience preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
About Company
DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview is a 156-room full-service hotel located in the Riverview Square development, steps from Austin Peay State University and FM Bank Arena in downtown Clarksville, Tennessee.
It will comfortably accommodate groups of up to 250, and the meeting space features two ballrooms, a boardroom, and a breakout space, as well as an outdoor terrace.
