The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the onboarding experience by performing or coordinating the following items : guiding managers and candidates through the onboarding experience, keeping all parties engaged and informed, enhancing the overall candidate and manager experience, pre-employment questions, new hire paperwork, applicant tracking system work and communications.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator formulates partnerships both internally and externally to ensure compliance in all pre-employment and onboarding phases adhering to EquiTrust’s, state and federal requirements.
In addition, the onboarding specialist formulates partnerships to gain knowledge and understanding, deliver value-added service, and navigational advice to managers, employees, and candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Works with Talent Acquisition leadership and recruiters to post and maintain accurate job postings to the company website careers section and our LinkedIn Company page.
- Works with candidates serving as primary guide and coordinator for background checks, new hire paperwork, and New Employee Orientation scheduling and coordination, ensuring customer service, compliance as well as completion in a timely manner.
Works directly with managers and IT to ensure preparedness of equipment, workspace, etc. for ensure a successful candidate start.
- Supports recruiting process through coordination of phone screens and interviews with recruiter, managers, and staffing vendors.
- As needed, source potential candidates to coordinate and conduct candidate reviews for minimum qualifications, phone screenings, and presentations to hiring leaders in partnership with the recruiter.
- Updates candidate files with documentation through the applicant tracking system.
- Ensures that all Sourcing Strategies are in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws.
- Serve as the primary contact during candidates' onboarding journey until they have started and become an active part of the EquiTrust team.
- Works with candidates to ensure I-9 validation and document retention and uploads documents to EFM.
- Partners with staffing vendors to ensure all documents during onboarding are completed and received in a timely manner.
- Partners with background check provider to ensure timely completion of checks and resolves issues.
- Ensures all documentation is received prior to hire and uploaded to the personnel file management system.
- Supports the Human Resources team on administrative functions as assigned.
- Supports Human Resources and Communications team and / or other departments on an as-need basis.
- Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as requested in order to accomplish department and Company objectives.
- Actively participates and contributes to the goals and objectives of the Company by working collaboratively and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Training or Work Experience :
- 2 years combined experience in a human resources functional area such as recruitment, onboarding, staffing organization, etc. required.
- Experience working in an HRIS or talent acquisition system required.
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources or any other field required.
Working Conditions :
Infrequent travel (less than 5% of the time).
