Job Description
- Schedule patients for office / clinic visits.
- Prep rooms with required materials for visits.
- Room patients and work alongside one provider with an additional MA employee (3 total providers, 2 MAs / 1 Doctor ratio).
Take vitals, weight, height, blood pressure, and medical history.
Work with patients' families / caregivers for collecting information. Enter all data into the EMR system (Allscripts).
Schedule follow-ups as needed. Handle workers' compensation.
Work Environment
Small orthopedic clinic that's privately owned, specializing in areas from hand to shoulder. Many patients are construction workers, landscapers, etc.
Employees are cross-trained in other areas / departments. The clinic has 3 doctors in Arlington Heights, 8 current MAs, and 3 X-ray techs.
