Description

Join our team as a Senior Manufacturing Assembly Technician , preferably with expertise in the satellite antenna, defense, or similar industries.

This role involves performing complex mechanical and technical tasks to construct, troubleshoot, and maintain electro-mechanical devices and components.

YOUR DAY TO DAY :

  • Execute diverse, non-standard mechanical and technical tasks, including troubleshooting and constructing intricate electronic, mechanical, or assembly work.
  • Assemble component parts and complete units, integrating electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and structural assemblies for satellite antenna products.
  • Wire panels, junction boxes, and other components to support manufacturing operations.
  • Solder components, wires to connections, other various soldering tasks
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure best practices.
  • Interpret preliminary engineering drawings to plan and enhance satellite antenna products or mechanical devices.
  • Drive design enhancements and cost-control measures through technical expertise and skills.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to foster team success and knowledge sharing.
  • Fulfill additional assigned duties to meet organizational goals and objectives.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE :

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and training totaling.
  • Must be able to pass basic solder test
  • Team-oriented mindset with exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and recommend improvements in manufacturing techniques and processes.

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States;

or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds safely during manufacturing processes.

Salary Range : $23.50 - $28.80 / hour
