We invite you to bring your experience in successful project management of preliminary and final design, bidding and construction phase services for municipal water and wastewater projects into play as you implement projects within the Water Market Sector in NYS and the Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, solids treatment and master planning.
To succeed in this role you must have 10+ years' experience in the design of complex municipal water and wastewater systems.

As our new Project Manager you will be part of our Client facing team, nurturing strong existing client relationships, especially in the New York State municipal water and wastewater field.

For this role, we believe your starting point is :
- Strong technical background and experience in design, evaluation and construction of water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities.
- Proven project leadership, project management (scope, schedule, and budget) and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated successful track record in exceptional client services.
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineering license in New York required with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity;

This position will be responsible for implementing projects within the Water Market Sector in New York and surrounding Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, solids treatment and master planning.
The Project Manager position is for a person who has demonstrated the ability to manage people and projects as well as generate new business with clients.
In addition, expectations are that this position will contribute to the sustainable financial growth of Ramboll and develop followership, lead high performance teams, resolve conflict, negotiate positive outcomes, mentor future leaders, and motivate employees.
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include : Strong personnel development skills with experience managing and mentoring people in management, engineering, and design positions.
Proven project leadership, project management (scope, schedule, and budget) and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Excellent team player with the ability to function effectively in a variety of roles on integrated project teams.
