Raleigh Endoscopy Centers offer outpatient endoscopic facilities specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders.
Our gastroenterology team serves the greater Triangle area with four convenient locations in Raleigh, North Raleigh, Cary, and Clayton.
We are currently searching for a Full-Time Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing all four Centers in the Greater Triangle area.
Each of the four Center Directors report to this role.
Major responsibilities :
- Oversee, coordinate, and direct activities across all Raleigh Endoscopy Center locations to provide and maintain ongoing quality patient care across the organization.
- Oversee financial performance of each facility, develop operations budget and capital budget, and make operational decisions that support financial goals and objectives.
- Recommend, develop, and update short- and long-term strategic plans to support the philosophy, vision, mission, and goals of the organization.
- Oversees clinical and administrative operations working collaboratively with each of the Center Directors across the four locations according to the Center’s policies, procedures, and objectives, including human resource matters, hiring, termination, and job performance.
- Oversees and serves as a member of the QAPI program, Infection Control program, and Risk Management program.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting body.
- Provides operational leadership around organizational goals, key strategy issues, and market opportunities. Reports quarterly to the Governing Board.
- Serves as primary liaison between the Governing Board, the medical staff, facility staff, health system partner, and the management company.
- Overall patient engagement and experience, including Patient Satisfaction / Patient Experience survey performance.
- Works closely with the AMSURG Director of Operations to ensure appropriate management of the Centers and our Partnership.
- Oversees credentialing per Medical Staff Bylaws; collaborates with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee.
- Maintains memberships in professional associations relevant to ambulatory surgery and healthcare administration.
- Fosters a network of peers and industry experts in order to remain current with industry trends and changes in the healthcare environment, such as finances / reimbursement, legislative issues, best practices etc.
and acts accordingly in the best interests of the Centers.
- Adheres to the Center's professional conduct policies and maintain patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality.
- Performs related work as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and / or abilities required :
- Comprehensive knowledge of surgery center business operations.
- Working knowledge of standard accounting principles, financial statement review, and budget development.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including experience working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability for self-direction and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
Education / Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year College or University; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least five (5) years of healthcare-management experience.
- At least one (1) year experience in an ASC.
- RN license in North Carolina with active CPR and ACLS Certifications.
- Ability to multi task effectively and efficiently.
- Able to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors.
- Consistent ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and professionally interact verbally and / or in writing with others.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
