Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Civil / Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on dam projects for their team in Fayetteville, Arkansas!
Responsibilities :
- Provide technical leadership / project management for water resources projects
- Tasks include inspection, investigation, evaluation, design, and construction of both existing and new dams, reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic structures
- Promote high standards and exceed industry standards
- Develop / review design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
- Conduct senior-level review of construction documents (calculations, plans, specifications)
- Assist with business development
- Build / maintain client relationships
- Coordinate project workloads with multiple offices
- Represent firm at networking events
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 12+ years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical, and / or structural engineering
- PE License
- Proficient in evaluating construction drawings and technical specifications
- Knowledge of state and federal dam safety design methodologies, policies, and regulations
- Project management / client relations experience
- Business development and proposal experience
Salary is commensurate with experience.
