The IT Asset Analyst is responsible for managing procurement transactions and asset administration activities to support IT requirements within the company.
Reporting to the IT Asset Manager, the incumbent assists in the day to day activities for the team responsible for executing IT Procurement transactions and performing the support and administration duties associated with IT Asset Life Cycle Management.
The primary objective of the IT Asset Analyst is to administer the lifecycle (acquisition through disposal) of IT assets in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible and to execute the purchase of IT products and services required to support the company.
Essential Functions :
Under the direction of the ITAM Manager, conducts and relays the day to day activities associated with the asset management team
Executes procurement functions, as required
Provision Cell Phones, iPad and Mi-Fi devices
Receive equipment as it arrives and add to stock levels
Oversee and validate Cycle Counts
Barcoding and Tracking devices
Picking stock to fulfill requests
Handling IT Asset Disposition Activities
Imaging and other On-Site Repair as needed for Desktops and Laptops
Other requests as determined by Manager
Work Conditions
Schedule : Monday through Friday8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Some nights and weekends
On Call : all year on a rotating schedule
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders to inspect wireless devices.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
Qualifications
2 (2) years IT experience.
Possess strong communication and analytical skills.
Candidate must be able to interact and provide executive-level communications to VPs, SVPs and CIOs
Must be able to work out of Victoria Corporate Officein Victoria, TX.
