Willow Hill Supply, LLC, DBA Tactical Gear Junkie / Kentucky Emblem, is a leader in embroidery manufacturing, committed to delivering high-quality products through innovative processes and a dedicated team.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Facilities & Machine Maintenance Tech to join our first shift team.
This role is vital in ensuring our machinery and equipment operate at peak efficiency, supporting our overall production goals.
Job Summary : The Facilities & Machine Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial machinery.
Additionally, this position involves general building maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, and property repairs.
While experience in the industry is preferred, it is not necessary as long as you have the mechanical ability and willingness to learn, we will provide training on the specific equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Machinery Maintenance : Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various types of industrial equipment, including sewing machines, laser machines, embroidery machines, and printing machines.
- Troubleshooting & Repair : Diagnose malfunctions by observing machinery operation, analyzing error messages, and consulting with operators.
Repair and replace faulty components to restore equipment to full functionality.
- Inventory Management : Maintain an inventory of tools and parts, ensuring adequate supply levels. Research and order necessary parts for repairs.
- Quality Control : Operate machinery after repairs to verify successful maintenance. Make adjustments such as timing when quality or production issues arise.
- Building Maintenance : Conduct minor electrical, plumbing, and property repairs, including filter replacements and other routine building maintenance tasks.
Qualifications :
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards.
- Basic understanding of reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, and written instructions.
- Experience in the industry is preferred but not required training on the repair and maintenance of specific equipment will be provided.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel equipment for extended periods.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, mid-range, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
