Summary of Responsibilities
As a Design Manager, you will be managing the Design Studio Team, ensuring capacity levels are optimized, and systems and processes are followed to provide the highest quality services for our clients.
- Develop and manage Design Department Strategy including department goals and objectives.
- Manage Design Center with onboarding new and innovative products.
- Communicate and maintain a good working relationship with our vendors.
- Lead the Design and Project Development department staff.
- Work with Project Development team to understand and accurately forecast job costs while improving production practices.
- Facilitate project coordination meetings with our design and build teams.
- Manage the setup of design projects, scheduling and execution of site inspections, and development of design concepts and cost estimates.
- Direct the development of detailed designs and cost estimates.
- Maintain Design department resource library and update as needed.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of Residential design experience
- 2+ years of Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experienced with Chief Architect or similar software
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Able to clear pre-employment checks
Comp ensation
- Salary- $80,000-$95,000
