Projects include water storage tanks, water and wastewater treatment plants, large structures on dams, pipelines, and other industrial facilities.
Projects are located primarily (but not exclusively) in the Pacific NorthwestWashington, Oregon, Idaho, & Montana. Weekly travel is required.
About the Role :
We are seeking skilled hands-on industrial painters and / or sandblasters / abrasive blasters, must be based in Pasco, WA (Tri-Cities area ONLY) that are willing to travel .
ECI is an SSPC QP-1, QP-2, QP-3, and QP-8 certified contractor. Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces for coating application by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and removing old paint
- Apply coatings using various methods such as spraying, rolling, troweling, and brushing
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of coatings
- Monitor and maintain equipment and tools used in the painting process
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
Requirements :
- Must have valid driver's license with no restrictions (CDL a plus)
- Previous experience as an industrial painter or similar role
- Must be able to work from heights and in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
- Knowledge of different coating materials and application techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to read and comprehend technical data sheets in English
- Position requires regular weekly travel and occasional overtime. Most holiday's off. Whenever possible, ECI crews work a four-day, 10-hour work schedule, however this is subject to change depending on project and client needs.
ECI is a Drug Free Workplace, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random and for cause drug testing at any time, in relation to DOT federal guidelines.
