U-Haul Self-Storage Department is looking fora MarketingStrategistthat will be responsible for establishing and implementing appropriate rate schedules as well ascoordinatingtimely establishment of new and conversion constructionprojects withvarious internalteams.
The ideal candidateisalsoexpected to effectively engagecommunication withU-Haulfield staff as well as resident constructionteamto have a hand in seeing themarketing needs.
The candidate is also desired to possess high analytical skills, very strong verbal and written communication, high level of attention to detail and very well organized.
Wearelooking for a person that can wear many hats, work independently, efficiently, communicate effectively, and has a strong attention to detailthat will support our field teams in U.
S. states and Canadian provinces.
Essential Duties :
Establish and maintain appropriate self-storage rental rate schedules
Analyze competitor rates for a designated area and trends over time, determine the need for a rate change and make recommendations
Resolve operational challenges viacontinuedcommunication with U-Haul field teams
Ensure all U-Haul self-storage operations are within the boundaries of company policies and procedures, continue to be part oftheir development and update
Provide support to U-Haul Field executives with analysis and datain regard totheir specific area of responsibility
Coordinate creation / deliveryofmarketing materials for corporate and field teams such as : business plan, self-storage layouts,facilitymaps,navigationalfacility directories, rate menu boards, andothersignageneedsviaresident Technical Illustrators
Interpret construction layout, security plan and diagrams provided to makesure thatthecurrent marketing documentationis accurateand coordinatecurrent / futureupdates via various internal teams
Effectively inquire and correspond to all related U-Haul teams with construction development and facility related changes to related documentationconcisely and accurately
Manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule
Activelycoordinatinginternalteams for successful delivery of projects
Stay up to speed of industry trends and know how
Other duties performed occasionally or infrequently :
Perform special projects assigned by division VP and other U-Haul senior management
Education :
Bachelor's degree inMarketing, Communications or Business Managementor related field required
Graduate degree preferred
Experience :
Minimum of1-2 years ofmarketingexperience desired
Skills / Required Knowledge / Tools :
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel,PowerPoint)
