Micron Technology is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our growing team supporting our US Expansion efforts for our Clay, New York facility.

This position will be responsible for working closely with Project Supervisors or Managers and working with site staff as necessary to compile data for cost and time status on projects.

Additionally, this role will be integral in performing various functions, which primarily involve providing expertise in the area of project controls, scheduling, and schedule analysis;

earned value management and construction activities in support of our construction program in Clay

This will be a Hybrid position based in Clay, New York. Micron will provide relocation to interested and qualified team members.

Until our site is built, remote work will be allowed with the intention of relocating team members appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Leading time and resources to ensure work / project is completed on time.
  • Create timetables for the project resolving the timing of tasks and materials needed to accomplish the project.
  • Projecting staffing needs to ensure that projects are adequately staffed and workers also have access to building tools and materials.
  • Supporting the project management staff in the preparation of the project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Defining the project control approach, establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards to guarantee consistent reporting of accurate information.
  • Document changes integrated into the project schedule
  • Spot project risks and include impact analysis for review by project team
  • Track critical activities and changes to the critical path impacting the project

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across all customers and partners in the construction space
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the construction organization including executive level communication
  • Proficiency within Project Management and Construction Management software
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract procedures and principles including construction logic.
  • Extensive knowledge of CPM scheduling and planning

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction, Engineering or Architecture. Comparable experience in the field will be considered.
  • Additional professional certifications (ACEE, CMAA or PMI) preferred

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is :

$79, - $135,

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.

The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
