Job Description

The focus of the Director, Corporate Communications & PR role will be on Internal Communications. This role plays an important role on the Corporate Communications team.

The overarching responsibility of this position is to lead the strategic development and execution of all global internal communications and employee engagement programs with an aim to build internal understanding of the global culture and values.

This role will actively drive internal communications efforts through innovative network-wide employee communications for 6,000+ employees, across existing and future communication channels, platforms and vehicles, including new and emerging technologies.

This role requires thoughtful and strategic thinking, and the ability to simultaneously manage, coordinate and execute a number of complex internal communications projects within stringent timelines.

This role requires the capacity to build and maintain relationships with agency / account leads, creatives and department heads to stay abreast of agency news and develop and execute internal comms plans.

This role may include supervision of multiple Communications Managers / Associates, as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support internal activation of key strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders, including HR department leaders to effectively accomplish shared goals through a deliberate partnership with a goal of delivering an improved employee experience and drive higher levels of engagement.
  • Tracking, measurement & maximizing reach and impact of internal comms channels and initiatives; this includes benchmarking, setting KPIs / metrics, testing and tracking to ensure our current channels are delivering at peak performance to facilitate effective communication across our network
  • Serve as IPG Health brand steward, ensuring brand adherence and new brand asset development.
  • Lead planning and project management for network-wide webinars / employee-focused flagship events (both recorded and live), to include a variety of topics such as agency, campaign-focused, innovation, insights and leadership programs Identify and implement communications opportunities to connect leadership with employees, and developing key messages and communications materials.
  • Ensuring internal comms platforms that underpin and enable connectivity across the global IPG Health network, this includes enhancing existing platforms and creation of new one.
  • Delivering strategic, engaging, and persuasive communications to creatively and effectively articulate ideas to internal employee audience across the internal channel ecosystem - e.

g., newsletter(s), TEAMS / Viva Engage messaging channels, email, webinars, presentations, in-office digital signage, etc.

with an increased emphasis on visual storytelling - always, always providing places for agencies and people to shine bright.

Experience :

10+ years' experience in Corporate Communications with a focus on Internal Communications or Employee Communications. Prior experience handling corporate communications within an agency setting is strong preferred.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in public relations, advertising, marketing or journalism is preferred.

Salary

$135,000 to $185,000 annually.
