Job Title : Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
- Process vendor invoices and disbursements to ensure accurate and timely costing in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Verify vendor invoice # and PO information including PO#, vendor name and remit to, dollar amount, proper tax and discount amounts.
- Compare subcontractor invoices to purchase orders or contracts to verify gross, retention and net, costs and payment terms.
Reconcile vendor statements, following up on missing invoices and outstanding issues.
- Communicate with Purchasing and Project Managers on invoices needing PO maintenance or clarification, as well as vendors and subcontractors regarding invoice issues.
- Make adjustments as needed by the Project Managers.
- Coordinate with purchasing for approved changes to purchase orders.
- Use document management software to route invoices for approval.
- Ensure timely routing and management of all invoices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex payment and vendor issues.
- Process lien waivers as necessary.
- Allocate purchasing card costs to jobs if required.
