Job Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to SFG.
- Implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to SFG.
- Build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating / automating migration of jobs.
- Performs problem analysis for migration of complex configurations from MOVEit to SFG.
- Performs complex installation, configuration, customization and tuning. Provides input on answers to technical questions and problems while adhering to standards and procedures.
- Assists in strategic planning and architecture and design. Makes recommendations on functional and business requirements.
- Participates in project activities and provides technical assistance for assigned projects
Skills and Experience Required :
Required :
- Expert knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) with more than five (5) years of hands-on experience on SFG
- Strong experience with capacity planning, scalability, performance, and load testing.
- Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP / GPG, S / MIME, HTTPS, FTPS / SFTP / SCP / OFTP, POP3 / SMTP, Web Services / SOAP / REST, WebDAV, etc.)
- Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)
- Experience or strong knowledge of application programming / scripting technologies (.Net / Java / J2EE, AJX, ASP, BPEL / BPML, SQL, XSLT, Linux / Unix / Windows shell scripts)
- Experience with .Net / Java based frameworks and solutions.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.
- Ability to work within a cross functional team as well as with various stakeholders.
- Experience working in financial services industry preferred.
Education :
Bachelor s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
