We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be reporting to the Director of Technical Operations. You will act as a technical game developer for Bash Games Studio’s portfolio, responsible for the development cycle of slot games with a distributed team.
So if you love making games with cool coworkers who also love making games, then we are looking for you. The Software Engineer position will be full-time and on-site at our Brookhaven, GA office.
What You'll Do
Make slot games within a globally located, multi-discipline team.
Write code in multiple languages including C++ and C#.
Help develop processes to improve efficiency within the production and testing cycles.
Assist in the develop Engineering and Math tools for Class 2 game development.
Work with our Software Integration Test engineers to identify and fix software.
Work with Game Designers, Mathematicians and Artists to implement new game features.
Create and proofread documentation for typos and errors.
Help manage communication with contributors and stakeholders across various functions and locations to monitor / communicate the status of products in production and in testing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional engineering experience preferred.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in OOP languages and Programming Design paradigms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Adobe experience with editing photos of friends for comedic purposes.
- Knowledge in version control software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, and confluence.
- Knowledge of software development processes.
- Ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements.
- Scrum Knowledge.
- Experience working with Linux preferred.
