As a Tax Manager at Forvis Mazars, you value working closely with others to plan and to help successful companies and their owners avoid surprises, coordinate tax strategies, and grow.

You will provide authentic support to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them to understand their business and industries.

How you will contribute :

  • Managing tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions
  • Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships
  • Representing Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community
  • Participating in the proposal process for prospective clients
  • Contributing to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publication and internal learning and development.
  • Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and :

  • Experience managing multiple client engagements
  • A keen sense of ownership for delivering ultra-responsive Client Service
  • Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 5 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax including technical tax consulting and research
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA license

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree

New York City Pay Transparency

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets.

The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.

FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.

New York Salary Range :

NY Minimum Salary (USD)

$ 82,800

NY Maximum Salary (USD)

$ 117,500
