Position Objective : Work as a technical sales consultant to engineers, architects, owners / developers, and contractors in design, application, and sales of Building Automation solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
The Essential Functions of the position include the following :
- Sell integrated Building Automation Systems
- Respond to client needs by identifying products, generating quotes, and following up on purchase orders
- Develop client relationships
- Conduct price estimates and quotations for projects
- Conduct customer visits and attend customer events to build relationships with key accounts
- Monitor and track quoted projects
Qualifications :
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is a plus
- Ability to analyze and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
- 5 plus years’ experience in a Sales position
