Summary :
As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists and technicians, you will develop an integrated manufacturing system leveraging innovative manufacturing processes to design and manufacture advanced space propulsion systems.
Responsibilities :
- Manage manufacturing-related projects.
- Achieve get-to-rate cycle time and lead time reduction targets for the assigned work centers.
- Production Support- Production Scheduling, Theory of Constraints, Budgets and Forecasts, Crew Empowerment, Defect Analysis and Benchmarking Analysis, Resource Allocation, Scenario Planning, Discrete Event Simulation, Make / Buy Evaluations, and Cost / Price Evaluations.
- Process Improvement- Lean Manufacturing, Engineering Economic Analysis, Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Methods, Six Sigma, Time Studies, Waste Reduction, and Work Sampling.
- Operations improvement- Ergonomic and Human Factors, Operations Plans, Recovery planning, Capacity planning, Capital planning.
- Integrated Systems- Value Stream Analysis, Facility Layouts, Production Systems Design, Manufacturing Process Design, Systems Thinking, Facilities Planning, and Requirements.
Minimum Qualifications :
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering degree.
- From recent graduate to - years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.
- Experience in assembly manufacturing environments.
- years of factory flow and process modeling and simulations experience.
- years of experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.
- Strong analytic skills and a high degree of proficiency in data mining.
- Exceptional with Excel, manual data analysis and other data mining tools (Python, R, SQL).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-Starter.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Operations Management, Construction Management, MSE and / or MBA.
- Project Management Certification (PMP).
- Lean Manufacturing Certification.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
- Experience transitioning development to production.
Compensation :
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
