The purpose of this position is to provide visionary and strategic thinking to develop, implement, and continually refine unified programmatic guidelines and expectations across all five retail divisions for refrigeration system and equipment replacements, installations, startup, and commissioning in all new stores, remodels, and special projects (over 250 major projects annually).
This position will also be responsible for ensuring high quality, timely, and safe execution of refrigeration installation projects in accordance with these guidelines through site visits, coordination with retail refrigeration managers and refrigeration construction project managers, and communication with refrigeration vendor leadership.
Additionally, this position is responsible for tracking project schedules and coordinating with the Publix Facilities contracting team to ensure adequate forecasting and vendor staffing for refrigeration installations in new stores, remodels, and special projects in support of Publix’s three-year plan.
