WHAT YOU’LL DO
CLOSING As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the new business sales pipeline, prospecting and closing new business for Evestar.
com. This is a combination of outbound and inbound leads and includes direct phone and email outreach to targeted lists of brands, learning about their current brand / advertising strategy, learning about their existing team, results and pain points and then correctly positioning our solution with the client.
STRATEGIZING Based on what you are learning via your outreach, you will directly interface with the Senior Leadership team and play a key role in shaping advertising budgets and content strategy.
You will also play a key role in shaping future product and sales expansion strategy.
CONNECTING Though we view this as a sales role primarily conducted via video meetings, there are also key conferences as well as major leads that might require premise visits.
We also have an attractive referral program that requires this individual to also be thinking about scaling via relevant connections.
Essentially, you are selling and constantly also connecting.
WHAT does daily success look like
- Bringing in 1 new client a week for our core product
- Direct target outreach via a combination of email and phone calls
- Shaping the activity metrics to success and documenting the play-book
- Speaking to 1-5 potentials per day and moving them along the sales funnel.
- Involving tech teams and experts when needed but ensuring that their time is spent on high potential clients
- Collaborating with your team to onboard new clients with good notes and hand-off calls.
- Shaping this strategy for growth working with Senior Leadership
- Deeply involved with investing and shaping our advertising dollars to ensure your success
Success in Six Months Looks Like
- 20 clients under your belt
- Being able to move a client to a close with minimum leadership + technology involvement
- Building a close trusted relationship with your full team .
- Being very versed in the full product line and ready to train the next sales director.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
EXPERIENCE
- Proven sales record and comfortable in a Quota driven environment
- Advanced understanding of digital marketing
- Mindset / attitude of performance based sales to scale
- Understanding that we are one team, rowing in one direction
- Good understanding of paid media and brand / business understanding
- Experience with email marketing preferred
- College Degree is preferred but not required
CAREER PATHING
We plan to scale this role quickly and if there is a desire to mentor and lead this function, this is a good option based on company results.
