Position Summary :
Assists the Manufacturing Commercial Manager, Business Development Specialist, and the Customer Account Specialist in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data.
The successful candidate will possess an eye for detail and have a teamwork mindset working with colleagues across departments.
Role Responsibilities :
- Collect data regarding operations
- Organize, analyze, and interpret trends with operational data
- Coordinate with production supervisors when analyzing data
- Present standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Assist with development of financial models.
- Maintain Labor Cost spreadsheet and update Excel reports and tables as needed
- Assist Customer Account Specialist with various projects and tasks
Experience / Skills / Abilities :
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs with emphasis in Excel
- Follows written and verbal instructions
- Communicates effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Ability to create and maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and files with accuracy
- Ability to review and check submitted work of others to ensure accuracy
- Possesses a strong understanding of basic math skills
- Possesses a general understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to function as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the department
- Must follow all safety requirements of working in a manufacturing environment.
Education :
High School Diploma
