Key responsibilities :
- Define and maintain application test automation architectural blueprints, technically aligning them with business objectives.
- Offer technical and functional mentorship to the team, covering test strategy, planning, and automation perspectives.
- Lead and prioritize testing tasks, defects, and user stories using Jira / Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement API tests based on industry standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and process improvements.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 8-12 years of shown experience in test automation with at least 3+ years in medical devices.
- Expertise in architecting automation framework and test scripts using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency with RestSharp and Postman to craft and execute automated API tests, validating the functionality and performance of RESTful APIs integrated into the medical device system.
- Ability to integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for CI / CD.
- Develop custom test automation libraries and utilities in Python to extend the capabilities of existing automation frameworks and address specific testing requirements of medical device software
- Conduct exploratory testing sessions to uncover edge cases and potential areas of risk not covered by automated tests, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and product quality.
- Familiarity with Gherkin syntax for implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement API tests based on industry standards such as OpenAPI (Swagger) to ensure consistency and compatibility across different software components
