YOUR DAY TO DAY :

To perform set-ups on standard machine tools using all accessory tools and equipment necessary to build intricate parts or mechanisms required for prototype products, under minimum supervision.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR :

• Operating & axis Bridgeport Acu-Rite Retrofit mills with some programing.
• Performing manual machining using Hardinge lathe, LeBlond lathe, Bridgeport, and Deckle mills.
• Designing and fabricate tooling for machining.
• Reads and interprets all drawing necessary to perform the assigned production operations.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE :

• Prior Bridgeport Acu-Rite retrofit or ProtoTrak operating experience .
• Setup experience preferred.
• Acu-Rite programing highly desired, or willing to learn.
• Must have five years machining experience with years manual machining.
• Must be able to perform machining independently and be willing to train others.
• Must read mechanical drawings and have good understanding of geometric tolerances.
• Must be capable of performing Machinist Journey Levels tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift lbs.
• This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• The successful candidate must be a Person as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States;

or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by b(a)().
