We’re seeking an Electrical Assembler to work at a global manufacturer in the aviation and aerospace industries, located in Windsor, CT.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 6 : 30am-3 : 00pm

What’s a typical day as an Electrical Assembler? You’ll be :

  • Responsible for assembling electrical components and wiring equipment using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, crimping tools, etc.
  • Accurately and efficiently interpreting assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping of your individual work area.
  • Maintaining a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and / or production travelers.
  • Performing other assignments as assigned by immediate and / or higher supervisors.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you :

  • Have experience in the assembly of industrial electrical components, wiring of instruments and units, and the use of all equipment associated with the satisfactory performance of duties.
  • Are able to produce high-quality products and expected quantities in an efficient amount of time.
  • Have the ability to move safely over uneven terrain as well as restricted spaces.
  • Can climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Are able to kneel, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Can work in and around areas with limited space.
  • Are available to work first shift (Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm).

Other skills and abilities we're looking for :

  • Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings, measuring scale and tape proficiency.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team or solo environment.
  • Familiarity with tablets and computers.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent.
