Job Description
Independently process pension applications on defined benefit plans and handle inquiries on pension benefits. Respond to telephone calls, walk-in visits, and written requests from participants, unions, and Trustees.
Prepare and organize appeals. Analyze records and related reports to determine proper actions within the limits of Plan rules.
Communicate verbally and in writing to explain and interpret plan procedures and rules. Disburse monthly and / or weekly checks and balance check registers on a monthly basis.
Prepare various trust reports on an annual and monthly basis. Implement Plan policies and procedures. Perform other duties within classification as assigned.
