We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Account Executive to lead our efforts in driving platform adoption across California Community Colleges.
Job Overview : As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in expanding MathGPT's presence throughout California Community Colleges.
You will be responsible for building relationships with faculty and department leaders, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how MathGPT can improve the learning experience for students and faculty alike.
This role involves a combination of business development tactics, including email outreach, phone call follow-ups, and in-person visits across various campuses.
Expect 10% to 40% travel within the state.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research and understand the unique challenges and needs of math departments within community colleges to offer tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to promote MathGPT across California Community Colleges.
- Maintain and move forward a pipeline of opportunities at different stages of maturity.
- Manage activities against monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs, including a new adopter quota.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations, both virtually and in-person, at individual colleges and conferences, showcasing the benefits of MathGPT to faculty and department heads.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision maker stakeholders in the community college system looking for new ways to support students struggling with math.
- Report and share insights from faculty conversations with the internal MathGPT team. Identify best practices for refining the company’s go to market playbook.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with or familiarity with the California Community College system; former student of a California community college is highly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of sales experience specifically in the higher education market
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to drive for in-person visits with ability to travel up to 40% throughout California.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools such as Google Suite, Zoom, email marketing software, and CRM platforms, including HubSpot.
