We are currently working with an established clinical-stage biotech focusing on innovative oncology therapies headquartered in Maryland.
The company are looking to hire a Vice President / Senior Vice President Clinical Development to lead the strategic planning and execution of early-stage clinical programs, with a focus on advancing oncology drug candidates from preclinical stages through to early clinical trials (Phase I / II).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of oncology drug development, strong leadership skills, and a track record of success in early clinical development.
Qualifications :
- MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with significant experience in early clinical development and oncology.
- Demonstrated expertise in the design and execution of early-phase oncology trials, including FIH and proof-of-concept studies.
- In-depth knowledge of oncology therapeutic areas, biomarkers, and translational medicine.
- Proven track record of successfully advancing drug candidates from preclinical stages through to early clinical development.
