About the Home

The delightful Bupa Runaway Bay is a modern care home surrounded by beautiful nature reserves and parklands, close to the Gold Coast beaches and just an hour from Brisbanes CBD.

It consists of 108 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role

Use your fantastic cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference. Provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

Duties

• Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and catering

Skills and Experience

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
• Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week

IMPORTANT : All aged care workers must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza and will be required to have both COVID vaccinations by 25 October 2021.
