Supporting multiple business units, the Loan ExpeditorI indexes all incoming loan documents that are faxed, scanned, or uploaded to Arch MI.
He / she ensures all documents are categorized correctly in the imaging system before the documents are released to the business units for use in their applicable business processes.
The incumbent follows established procedures and escalates non-standard situations to the team lead or manager.
1. Categorizes loan documents quickly and accurately in indexing system for multiple business units, each with their own set of document categories.
Achieves minimum standards for turnaround time, productivity and data accuracy.
2. Performs accurate and timely indexing of loan documents, which will allow the business units to significantly increase productivity because the files are delivered in the same consistent format every time.
3. Analyze documents, making decisions and solving routine problems related to accurate recognition of loan documents and loan registrations / Certificate #’s.
4. Researches existence of the loan in various Arch MI systems and creates new data records in Arch MI Systems of Record if a corresponding data record for the documents does not already exist.
5. Identify the type of transaction being requested / submitted by the customer to determine if / how new records should be created in Arch MI Systems of Record or if existing records should be updated.
6. Index files / documents delivered via FTP or email for multiple business areas.
7. Process daily work using several ARCH MI computer systems opened simultaniously as well as managing requests for multiple business units.
8. Adheres to performance standards for productivity, quality, and turnaround time and data accuracy.
Knowledge & Skills :
Mortgage loan document recognition preferred.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them consistently and accurately.
Understanding of basic office protocol, policies and procedures.
Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
Strong organizational skills.
Flexible to changing priorities quickly and often.
Type a minimum of 35 wpm
Ability to use office equipment.
Basic computer skills,previous data entry skills are preferred.
Education & Experience :
Required knowledge and skills would typically be acquired through a High School diploma / GED and 6months-1 year related experience.
