Position Responsibilities :
The responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Oversight of the didactic year policies and curriculum
- Didactic year faculty evaluation
- Course evaluation
- Write syllabi for coursework taught in the didactic phase of the Katz PA Program
- Teach didactic and clinical year students : both lectures and laboratories
- Work collaboratively with members of the Katz PA faculty and the University faculty
- Student advisement for both didactic and clinical year students
- Participate in student recruitment events and retention initiatives
- Participate in ARC-PA program assessment and accreditation related projects
- Provide remediation instruction to ensure student success
- Teach current clinical medicine : gold standard practices
Experience & Educational Background :
Credential Requirements :
- Physician Assistant - Certified
- BS with a minimum of 10 years clinical experience
- Masters with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
All applicants must have :
- Current NCCPA certification
- NYS PA licensure or eligibility
