Embedded Software Program Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Program Manager to drive and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of embedded software projects across our product portfolio.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise in embedded systems, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain program plans and schedules, for embedded software projects.

Work with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.

Establish timelines and resource requirements, aligning them with overall company goals.

Track project progress, maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.

Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware teams, quality assurance, and product management.

Escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary and provide recommendations for resolutions.

Coordinate with QA teams to establish testing protocols, verification procedures, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in embedded software development or embedded systems engineering.

3+ years of experience in project / program management, preferably in embedded software or hardware-related projects.

PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certifications are preferred.

Proficiency with project management and communication tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).

Strong understanding of embedded systems, and hardware-software interaction.

Experience in software development processes, version control, and embedded software languages (C, C++, etc.).
