ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Proactively manage the recruiting and fulfillment process which includes receiving orders, filling position openings, and ensuring full completion of assignments by Galt Associate employees.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Weekly review of inactive client database to identify list to satisfy minimum number of telephone or in-person contacts to be made
  • Recruit and use the existing candidate pool to fill positions with qualified Galt Associates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with aligned community partners to ensure a pipeline of mission-qualified candidates.
  • Review resumes, screen, and assess candidates for hard and soft skill job alignment.
  • Interview, onboard, and orient Galt Associates and ensure alignment with Galt’s Mission.
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, drug screens and other screenings as required.
  • Act as the first point of contact and / or escalation point for Galt Associates and clients alike.
  • Escalate client and Galt Associate to the appropriate channels when initial conflict resolution is ineffective.
  • Record, manage and update Galt Associate files in the appropriate systems while ensuring consistency and accuracy in both client and candidate records.
  • Follow procedures and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and community presentations
  • Attend team meetings and departmental meetings prepared for solutions-driven ideas that focus on Galt’s Mission.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Required education and experience :
  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years of disability advocacy, account management, workforce development, or recruiting experience required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to attend community events and job fairs.
  • Required technical qualifications
  • Intermediate MS365 computer skills
  • Basic human resources knowledge
  • Bullhorn software experience is preferred but not required
  • Required behavioral qualifications Strong alignment with Galt Foundation Mission and values
  • Strong knowledge and application of human-centered design
  • Strong multi-modal communication skills, specifically as it relates to the disability community
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize to produce results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Results-driven with strong business acumen, understanding of financial and operational metrics while simultaneously centering Galt’s Mission in business decisions

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES :

  • Ability to manipulate objects, including computers and other routine office machines and supplies.
  • Ability to operate a computer and perform work on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel and effectively move around at job fairs and other community events.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Office environment. Willingness to work remotely and onsite at public events when required. This role uses standard office equipment.
