Transactional Attorney

Overview

Trueline's client, a well-established full-service law firm in northern New England, is seeking a Transactional Attorney to join their office in southern Maine. This role offers a platform to lead and expand a transactional practice, with expectations for eventual partnership and growing client responsibilities.

What You'll Do as the Transactional Attorney

• Advise clients (from small businesses to institutional lenders) on business formation, governance, M&A, and general contract matters
• Handle commercial and residential real estate work : acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development deals
• Structure and close financing transactions for borrowers and lenders (commercial and residential)
• Counsel clients on operational matters, risk mitigation, compliance, and client-facing advisory services
• Manage your docket with autonomy while collaborating with firm colleagues, with a pathway to leadership and partnership
