Job Description

BryceTech is currently looking for a Project Manager II position that will be supporting a high-visibility ASPR client managing over $21B in portfolio value with a variety of needs including support to the project team, acquisition program, and global health economic analysis efforts.

This role will support the development and management of innovative government programs to expand the domestic industrial base for public health sector medical technology.

Overall focus will be centered on Economic Modeling & Analysis; Strategic Planning; IBMSC R&D Reporting; and Process Improvement.

The person in this role will :

  • Lead development of major project reports (e.g., Economic Analysis), in coordination with key team members.
  • Lead development of key project planning documents (e.g., IBMSC Strategic Plan, Transition Plan, Roadmap), work with the client to prioritize objectives and strategies.
  • Develop strategic planning documents, and lead implementation of deliverables.
  • Manage strategic roadmap. Develop and manage project governance plans, project schedules, success criteria and project milestones.
  • Establish business priorities, develop solutions, identify owners, set delivery / completion dates and set up mechanisms to ensure programs are on track.
  • Drive programs end-to-end including business goals, technical solutions, to improve member experience with guidance.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, outlines and reviews tradeoffs as well as balance business needs versus constraints.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that affect member experience and may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, product, and technical goals.

  • Communicate, verbally and in writing, clear and concise expectations and requirements with business and technology teams.
  • Capacity to present well-reasoned and data-driven proposals in both verbal and written form.
  • Identify and communicate risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; develop and maintain goals, milestones and completion dates
  • Influence others to drive ongoing program improvements based on user feedback and performance measurements.
  • Conduct risk analysis as required on the project.
  • Develop goals and objectives underlying strategy being developed
  • Recommending associated benchmarks and measurement for project performance.
  • Support the review of business systems and tools designed to support ASPR.
  • Travel on official business per the government’s request as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a technical field (physical science / engineering), operations / production management or related field.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience managing projects in medical, or scientific-related industry.
  • Project management experience (PMP desired).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with all MS Office product and Adobe Acrobat.
