A law firm located in Chicago is seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of medical malpractice defense experience. The successful candidate should hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active State of Illinois and / or Missouri Law license in good standing.
Duties :
- Provide legal counsel and representation in medical malpractice defense cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active State of Illinois and / or Missouri Law license in good standing.
- 0-10 years of experience in medical malpractice defense.
- In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
