CNC Machine Lead

Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machine Leads for a company located in Costa Mesa, CA.

As an Quality Control Inspector you will :

• Leadership and Coordination : Monitors manufacturing operations within the CNC machine area, leading and coordinating the activities of the team.
• Machine Operation : Sets up and operates CNC machines and other related equipment efficiently.
• Resource Management : Manages requests for tool and supply purchases. Monitors usage on the floor to prevent waste.
• Problem Resolution : Reviews general machine shop-related issues with management, engineering, and programming. Provides clear and concise feedback to resolve problems effectively.
• Training : Trains operators on how to effectively, efficiently, and safely set up and operate shop equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, cranes, hand tools / power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Performance Management : Reads, interprets, and evaluates employee performance via production-related reports. Monitors and takes initiative based on data such as quality reports, key performance indicators, and safety data to enforce peak performance.
• Compliance and Safety : Ensures strict adherence to company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

The ideal candidate will be :

Proficient in CNC machine setup and operation.

Schedule : 6 am to 230pm or 2 PM to 10 : 30 PM

Days : Monday-Friday

Pay Rate : $29-$37 per hour

The ideal candidate will have :

• Ability to use standard precision measuring instruments to check linear, angular and configuration of raw, in-process, and completed parts to tolerances of .0001"
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work specifications
• Knowledge of machine shop and inspection practices
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
