Individual Support Worker (DSP) - Partial benefits

We are currently recruiting for an Individual Support Worker (ISW) in our Adult Community Support Services Program in Edison, Woodbridge & Monmouth Junction, NJ.

Qualified candidates will identify various available services and develop support systems to meet client needs. There is a significant amount of travel required for this position.

Job Responsibilities of an ISW :

• Accompanies clients to doctor's appointments
• Assists with meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Assists with running errands
• Assists with activities of daily living (may be required)

Job Requirements :

• HS diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license must be insurable under NJID's automobile insurance.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities
• Strong communication skills

NO certification required

Position Details :

Location : Edison, Woodbridge & Monmouth Junction County : Middlesex

Hours Per Work Week : 30 Weekly Work Schedule : Tues.-Fri. 2 pm-8 pm & Sat. 10 am-4 pm

Other shifts are available at this location.
