Description
Darigold is seeking a motivated Production Operator to be part of the Issaquah plant. The Production Operator must possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the Issaquah, WA plant.
As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator should possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the plant.
Our plants create nutritious products 24 / 7, 365 days a year. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple repetitive tasks.
will work with others to achieve team goals. The Production Operator's role is to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Pay rate : $27.27-$30.30 depending on experience
Night shift opening- must be flexible
Position Description :
- Follow all lead persons / supervisor’s instructions.
- This is a union position
- Follow all procedures & clean up including GMPs
- Run chemical tests on all CIPs
- Documents all production data clearly and accurately
- Keep supervision and maintenance informed of any mechanical issues.
- Inspect the equipment prior to setting up for production, during production, during CIP and report possible mechanical deficiencies.
- Must be able to complete all QA checks and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to work with required sanitation chemicals
- Ability to utilize professional methods of communication within the butter department to create a positive environment
- Completes PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned
- Follow and comply with Safety and quality assurance practices
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leads / supervisors / managers
- Days off subject to change
Required Qualifications :
- Ability to frequently lift 55 lbs.
- Ability to stand of extended periods of time
- Ability to follow all clean up procedures
- A self-motivator with the ability to multitask
- Ability to communicate and work well with others & management
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism, while managing multiple competing tasks in a high volume, fast paced, time sensitive environment
- High level of organizational skills
- Excellent attendance and work performance
- Understanding and adherence to all GMP’s
- Ability to work days off / overtime when necessary
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Ability to conduct business in a manner consistent with Darigold mission, values, policies, and Code of Conduct.
