Regular Primary Location : Perris, CA

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the propagation and vegetative growth team
• Main responsibilities for this role will include overseeing the daily maintenance of plants in propagation, mother stock maintenance, and vegetative growth rooms
• Overseeing the cleaning, preparation and maintenance of rooms
• Leading the sanitization, basic room upkeep, transplanting plants to other areas of the facility, and loading various vegetative areas on multiple tiers.
• Irrigating plants and managing the placement of irrigation lines
• Overseeing the mother stock maintenance programs as scheduled by the Vegetation Supervisor
• Plant Maintenance (defoliation / pruning), basic training and shaping of plants
• Some minor integrated pest management activities like releasing beneficial insects of spraying of deterrents
• Set-up and use of mechanical equipment including conveyors, pot fillers, and forklifts
• Aid in mixing of nutrients used for irrigation
• Additional duties outside of the primary job description as required by Management

Qualifications

• Experience in vegetative growth stages of Cannabis plants
• Capable of producing accurate work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, positive, and punctual team player
• The ability to work quickly under pressure
• Manual dexterity and strength, unafraid of getting dirty
• Ability to handle high heat and humidity on a regular basis
• Ability to lift, bend, squat, climb, and pass up to 40lbs
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for an entire shift
• The ability and willingness to operate (or learn to operate) a variety of hand-tools
• The ability to communicate proficiently in both written and spoken English
